The Senate of College Councils is celebrating students who have made impacts on the university through the William C. Powers Jr. Endowed Scholarship! Any currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student, including doctoral students, who have completed two full terms (long semesters) at UT Austin is eligible to apply. Applicants will be evaluated on: contribution to the university, community/organizational involvement, job/work involvement, and financial need. Financial need shall be applied to decide between equally meritorious students with comparable leadership abilities. 

Applications open Monday, October 5, 2026, and close Friday, October 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM CST.
