As the Senate of College Councils, our role extends beyond representation.

We are here to advocate for, enrich, and facilitate the academic experience of every student.

Representation

We serve as the official voice of students in matters pertaining to academics. Each college council represents their school or college within the Senate, ensuring that all students, regardless of their field of study, have a seat at the table.

SCC 2023-2024 President Corinne Floyd

Leadership Development

Through our leadership positions and involvement opportunities, we provide students with the chance to hone their leadership skills, gain valuable experience, and make a real impact on our campus.

Programs & Events

We host a variety of programs and events designed to foster academic engagement, create community, and facilitate dialogue on critical academic issues.

Providing Resources

Our goal is to ensure that all students have access to the tools they need to thrive and feel safe on campus. Learn about resources from the Class Concern Form, scholarship opportunities, ethnic studies course database, and more.
